I highly recommend The Music school Bangalore to fellow musicians and any aspiring music lovers trying to learn and to play any instruments as I extremely build and grew myself musically and had fun in my stay there . My teacher Melroy Fernandez has great teaching style and understanding of music as an instructor and a friendly personality which heightened our music learning. All the teachers there are friendly and supportive so the ambience were great. I did my music production extended course and got through with merit certificate for which I will be forever grateful to the school where I learnt about music composition, techniques, styles and overall how to make great music. "Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.”—Henry Ford

I completed the UG music production certification over 7 months last year. The course was well-paced and the teachers were knowledgeable and helpful. The course covered 5 modules in good depth. Each was taught from basics so all students can get on an equal footing. I really enjoyed the theory and the small class size. There is an emphasis on theoretical learning and applying the concepts to practical projects so if you are looking for a very hands on course, consider a different one. I found that the course had a nice balance between exams and coursework. Since it is a degree course, you need to invest some time (I attended the school 3 1/2 days a week) but the workload is manageable. The teachers were great at explaining new concepts and happy to help if we were struggling or had questions. Overall, I would recommend the course. Find out exactly what exactly what the course covers and how it’s taught beforehand though because this one is quite theoretical. The staff is friendly and the school is well equipped and has a nice atmosphere.

Amazing teachers, environment, and infrastructure. Highly recommend this place for aspiring musicians. I am doing the UG course in music (B.mus). My subjects in the first year are Music Production, Music theory, Music Composition, Audio Technology, Digital Technology, Live Performance (Ensemble), Marketing and income streams in creative fields, Mixing and Mastering, Electronic Music Performance, Digital Recording and Teaching Practice. We have more subjects in the second year, some of which include Dolby Atmos Mixing and Orchestration. We learn these Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs): Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Reaper, Musecore, and Pro Tools. I personally use FL Studio, but it wasn't difficult to learn new DAWs. Students who use different DAWs are welcome here too.
